The Gold and Silver Skiffs were first awarded in 1928 and were retired from service in 1993
Four clubs managed to win both magnificent trophies in one regatta meeting:
Dartmouth ARC - 1933, 1934, 1937, 1951, 1957, 1960 and 1965
Bideford ARC - 1947 and 1992
Paignton ARC - 1977
and Bideford AAC - 1986

The Gold Skiff
Queen of Torbay
The gold skiff, named Queen of Torbay, was awarded to the winning crew of the Men's Senior Fours race at Paignton Regatta. In 1976 the rules for WEARA changed the the trophy was awarded to the winning Men's Senior A Fours crew.The trophy was last won in 1992 and was then retired from service.
The Silver Skiff

Pride of the Bay
The Silver Skiff, named Pride of the Bay, was awarded to the winning Men's Junior crew at Paignton Regatta. A Junior rower was classed as a rower who had not won a race before that season. In 1976 when the WEARA rules changed the trophy was awarded to the winning Men's Senior B crew. The trophy was last won in 1993 and was then retired from service.
